Forgiveness Gone Aero With Asymmetric Sole
TaylorMade's obsession with helping golfers improve has driven them to reinvent the shape of the driver. The all-new SIM Drivers deliver a new level of speed and forgiveness through advanced aerodynamics combined with a high-MOI multi-material construction. They call it 'Shape In Motion'.
The reshaped sole design delivers more clubhead speed and enhanced aerodynamics at the most critical stage of the swing. The Inertia Generator positions weight at the extreme rear for increased forgiveness and is strategically angled at 20° to reduce drag on the downswing.
Featuring Injected Twist Face Technology, each driver head has been individually calibrated and injected to reach the threshold of the maximum legal limit of ball speed. The revolutionary face curvature reduces sidespin and delivers straighter shots on off-centre strikes. The multi material construction creates a head design where weight is positioned precisely in the head for ultra-low CG and high MOI. Coupled with a Thru-Slot Speed Pocket that delivers enhanced sole flexibility to create additional ball speed as well as improved forgiveness on low-face miss-hits.
Adjustable Sleeve Technology provides adjustability and personalization to optimize each golfer's trajectory, face angle and flight bias preferences, up to +/-2° loft change and up to +/-20 yards of draw-fade bias.
Fitted as standard with the premium Fujikura Ventus Red or Ventus Blue shaft giving two distinct ball flights. Ventus Red offers a higher ball flight and Ventus Blue a mid-low ball flight, best for faster swinging golfers.
